Zebru is passionate about preserving the neighbourhood's rich architectural and cultural heritage, and our apartments are all selected with this in mind. Throughout our 15-year history we have maintained strong links with the construction industry, giving us 'inside knowledge' of our properties. Because we work with local architects and construction experts who share our passion and precision, we are able to create spacious, stylish apartments that preserve original details while introducing innovative new design elements.
All our raw materials are selected with two main things in mind: how sustainable is it and how easy is it to maintain? We want to make sure life for our clients is as comfortable as possible. In order to achieve the most suitable solutions for implementing contemporary interior design, we work hand in hand with innovative and experienced designers. During renovation, apartments are fully stripped and totally renovated to the highest quality. All floors are new, our heating systems and airconditiong use as little energy as possible and we slowly introducing solar panels into the properties.
Amsterdam Oud-Zuid is one of the wealthiest areas in the city, with an eclectic mix of chic boutiques, stylish shopping outlets, hip cafés and high-end restaurants. Broad boulevards, the leafy Vondelpark and the proximity of some of the world's best art museums make it a popular choice for family living – it has one of the lowest crime rates in Amsterdam. The area is also well served by public transport, with easy access to both Schiphol Airport and the city ring.
At Zebru, we don't just lease our apartments, but we select, renovate and maintain them to the highest of standards. Our small team lives, or has lived, where our properties are located, in Amsterdam's elegant Oud-Zuid (Old South) district, so we can advise our clients on local amenities and are on hand to cater to their needs, guaranteeing a one-to-one, personal service at all times.
We work hand-in-hand with committed service providers to ensure that all apartments, as well as shared spaces such as gardens and lifts, are kept in top condition. This includes the maintenance of central heating systems, paintwork that is kept fresh, and regular window cleaning. Repairs are therefore kept to a minimum, but if they are necessary they are given our immediate attention. We do our best to ensure that public order is maintained at all times.
